Fresh off her NRL Hall of Fame induction, Australian Women’s Rugby League pioneer, Katrina Fanning, joined Raiders on Mix in the lead up to the NRLW game between the Canberra Raiders and the North Queensland Cowboys at GIO Stadium on Saturday the 24th of August.

Katrina told the call team’s Chris Coleman, Adam Jansen and Sammy Rose, that it’s her first ring ever! Katrina also discussed her legacy in the sport, how far the Women’s game has come and how the future of the game is looking with the Canterbury Bulldogs joining the competition next season, while the New Zealand Warriors are set to re-join after last competing in 2020. Unfortunately for the Raiders, the girls suffered their fourth loss in a row, going down 28-18 to the Cowboys.
