Mark Seymour from ‘Hunters & Collectors’ is partnering with the Canberra Symphony Orchestra for Symphony in the Park, as part of the jam-packed Enlighten program for next year.

The nations capital will get to experience classics like ‘Throw Your Arms Around Me’ and ‘Holy Grail’ in a different way, with the addition of a full orchestra!

“I’m looking forward to the challenge. But also just how it affects the feeling and the emotion that the songs convey,” Seymour said.

“I think it adds a lot of dramatic power, a lot of storytelling. It’s pretty much a journey through about 40 years of music, so there’s plenty of bells and whistles to play with.”

As for what people can expect from the show, Seymour said “I think they’re gonna be pretty surprised!
