Following Dolly Parton’s recent passing, Dolly’s in Civic is bringing Canberra fans together to celebrate the life and legacy of the country music icon.

The venue’s owner, Kate, told Kristen and Kate that Dolly Parton has long been considered the bar’s “patron saint”. There is a small shrine dedicated to her behind the bar, while the Dolly-inspired Jolene cocktail has always had a place on the menu.

The free tribute night will feature Dolly-themed trivia, karaoke, prizes and plenty of glamour. Guests are welcome to dress up, while the bar will also be serving Dirt Road Martinis (Dolly’s favourite).
