A drag parody about Kath & Kim living in lockdown is coming to Canberra

They’re the foxiest ladies in Australia but apart from a recent TV reunion special, we haven’t seen much from Kath & Kim since the release on their 2011 feature filum ‘Kath & Kimderella’.
A lot has happened since then, including that little coronavirus pandemic.
Now, we’re being given a glimpse into what life in lockdown might have been like within the homes of the fictional Melbourne suburb of Fountain Lakes, more specifically, the humble abode known affectionately as ‘Chateau Kath‘.
‘Kath is up to pussy’s bow in sour dough bread, Kim’s been asked to work from home (though that happened long before the pandemic started) and Sharon has had a severe reaction to all the hand sanitiser.’
Starring Art Simone as Kath Day-Knight (let me be the first to say that she looks a hundred bucks), the show has already been played in Melbourne and will now head to the iconic Sydney Opera House before landing at the Erindale Theatre here in Canberra in September.
Art Simone joined the Mix 106.3 drive show ‘CBR Wrapped’ to discuss the upcoming show:
Fountain Lake in Lockdown takes to the Erindale Theatre for 4 shows across 13 – 15 September – tickets are on sale now here.
