If you decided to build your home or maybe have someone in your street building theirs, you may have thought you were going crazy with how long it’s taking.

But – the news is in! You’re not crazy. Data has shown that construction in the capital is taking twice as long as it once did.

Master Builders Australia stated that back in 2010 it would have taken 7.5 months to get your home built, and now in 2024 it’s 13 months!
