Big Splash has opened the ‘unlicensed family restaurant’ it requires to comply with its lease.

But it’s not exactly what Canberrans were expecting.

The ‘restaurant’ is little more than a tent and a barbecue, alongside plastic tables and chairs and a portaloo.
