Canberra Pets Are Already Drooling
Looking for a dog-friendly event in Canberra this weekend? Bone Appétit is bringing tasty treats, live music, and tail-wagging fun to Haig Park on Sunday, 28 September, from 11 am to 1 pm.
Hosted in the dog agility area at the top of Mort Street in Braddon, this month’s Paws Party is all about celebrating canine nutrition and community. Expect a lively mix of activities for dogs and their humans, including:
- Dog nutrition Q&A with expert Dr Kate Millhouse
- The Doggie-Dish Off recipe contest with a $100 prize
- A Ruff-le Draw with giveaways every 30 minutes
- A Bone-anza Scavenger Hunt with hidden treats
- A themed photo booth inspired by Lady and the Tramp
Visitors can also enjoy live jazz music, browse the Haig Park Village Markets, and explore nearby Braddon shops offering local produce and handmade goods.
The event runs alongside the Spring Sustainability Market, featuring eco-friendly workshops, native reptile encounters, and hands-on activities for families and kids.
Whether you’re a Canberra local or visiting the city, Bone Appétit is a great way to enjoy the outdoors with your pup and connect with the community.
