A cow has broken free and had an adventure through the main streets of the nation’s capital this week.

Farmers and breeders are in town for the Canberra Show this weekend, taking place at Exhibition Park.

The light brown cow escaped just before 4:30pm and was spotted running across Northbourne Avenue and down Knox Street in Watson.

Farmers and police were seen chasing after the escapee through the streets…
