A snow-covered Black Mountain in the middle of December was once just a dream, but it’s now become a reality along City Walk.
As part of it’s Christmas in the City efforts, the City Renewal Authority are again rolling out its giant snow globe featuring the iconic Canberra landscape, for the second year running.
The globe proved popular last year, with visitors given the chance to shower Telstra Tower in a white blanket of snow with the push of a button.
It’ll be located at the base of the Civic Christmas Tree along City Walk, in the heart of the celebrations.
Take a look at what the snow globe looked like last year!

Roving street performers are also set to turn the City Walk into a stage, helping get locals into the Christmas spirit.
The festivities don’t end there either, with the merry-go-round holding free rides from today onwards!
All of these activities and features will be available until December 23rd, for a full list check out the City Renewal Authority’s website.
