Former Raider Luke Bateman had his story featured on Australian Story, but he admitted he didn’t exactly sit down for the full thing.

Speaking with The Kristen and Nige Show, Luke Bateman said he was reading his book, went to bed early and had only caught “bits and pieces” of the episode.

Despite that, he said it was still a huge honour to have his story told.

“I don’t care what people think of me. I just want my story to be able to empower them to change their own lives,” Luke Bateman said.

He also shared an update on his upcoming book, revealing the third draft is currently with his Australian and US publishers.
