Our very own Raiders coach has challenged Aussies to a 102,000km bike ride in just seven days.

The Ricky Stuart Foundation and Rapha Australia have teamed up for the annual autism awareness ride, Pedal for Purpose.

6,471 participants have signed up for the challenge, with the goal of riding 1km for every primary school aged child in Australia diagnosed with autism.

Ricky Stuart says advocating for autism awareness is second nature for him, as his daughter Emma lives with the disability.

“Raising awareness matters. It starts conversations about autism and why people with autism interact differently. Conversations and engagement help build knowledge, which promotes acceptance and inclusion.”

The ride runs from October 9 – 15.
