Raiders NRLW Coach Darrin Borthwick said it was exciting to have the club’s inaugural season documented, so future generations of female players could learn more about the trailblazers who went before them.
“We’re very excited for Raiders and all rugby league fans to experience what we went through in our first NRLW season and provide an insight into the culture and legacy the team is looking to create,” Borthwick said.
“So much was packed into our first year and we’re hoping this project can help give an understanding of what goes into a season.”
Raiders Rising will premiere this Saturday at 3.00pm on Channel 9 and 9Now and will be available to watch on demand on 9Now.
