Say Hello to Louie, the national Zoo’s Newest Resident
The National Zoo and Aquarium has welcomed a spiky new addition — Louie the Cape Porcupine!
She’s the largest species of porcupine in the world and comes with some serious quill power.
Louie’s settling in alongside her neighbours, including Tammar Wallabies and the iconic Moo and Emu, right next to the Jungle Bungalows. If you’re booked into Bungalow 3 (the Cheetah one!) you might even catch her in action.
