Where To Watch The Raiders This Weekend – If You’re Not Going To GIO
Canberra’s turning green in support of the Raiders this weekend ahead of the Green Machine’s qualifying final against the Broncos at GIO stadium on Sunday arvo. The game is officially sold out after tickets were snapped up fast earlier in the week. If you missed out, there are still plenty of ways for those who bleed green to get out and about in Canberra to back the Raiders.
- The Queanbeyan Top Pub will be showing the game LIVE on their big screen. They also have an array of posters, cardboard cut-outs and memorabilia currently on display.
- In Kingston, The Dock will be providing a free SHUTTLE BUS from 14:15pm to GIO Stadium.
They will also be providing free Midori and Milk’s IF the Raiders win the clash, AND a signed jersey up for grabs if someone correctly guesses the first try-scorer of the match.
- Over in Woden, Fenway Public House will be broadcasting the game on all the big screens live and loud, schooners and wines $7 during the game.
- To Kippax, where Moby Dick’s Tavern will have the game on all screens, with the pub decked out with all things green (including the food!)
- Little Billy’s in Cooleman Court will be serving up green hamburgers.
- In Gungahlin, Siren Bar are screening the game as well as putting up $10 pizza’s, $5 tacos, $10 green margaritas and happy hour $7 beers (green dye optional). Plus the free bus departs to the game foot steps away perfect for pre and post game celebrations.
- The Corner Market at City West have Raiders donuts and green, green matcha!
- Limelight Cinema in Tuggers are screening the game on the big screen. $6 will get you in the door and a medium drink.
- If you have secured tickets to the game but are at a loss on how to get there, Assembly Bar and Grease Monkey are both running a bus to GIO Stadium, plus a burger and a drink or two.
