This is not a drill (unintentional soccer training pun)!! Australia’s favourite sporting team are heading to the Nation’s Capital!

The CommBank Matildas will play against Argentina at GIO Stadium this June, the first time that they will take the pitch in Canberra since 2022. This will be a match that prepares both teams AFC Women’s Asian Cup next year.

This is major news not only for our city, but also for the many young football fans and players, particularly young girls.
