After meeting a mother and her four-year-old daughter living in a car, the real estate agent launched a mission to repair 20 public housing properties before Christmas.

The campaign attracted 171 offers of support in two days, but a meeting with Canberra Housing revealed new hurdles that could stop it from going ahead.
