Tributes are flowing in for a true Canberra icon that we have lost recently – Alan Jessop.

Alan dedicated over 30 years of his life collecting donations for the Salvation Army, three days a week in the Canberra Centre.

Over this time, Alan collected over $4 million dollars for the charity.
