The admins of the Canberra Notice Board Group have issued a warning to members using Facebook nicknames to post inappropriate, inflammatory or potentially defamatory comments.

Because admins can’t disable the nickname feature, they may now share a screenshot of a member’s personal profile alongside the offending comment. Kristen and the team weighed in on the move and whether people would behave differently online if their real identity was attached to every post.
