Why is the next stage of Light Rail taking so long?

The ACT Greens are demanding answers from their coalition partners ACT Labor as to why light rail stage 2B will not be started sooner.

Member for Ginninderra and ACT Greens Transport Spokesperson Jo Clay says currently the Light Rail to Woden won’t be complete until 2033, which she believes is not good enough.

Ms Clay says other jurisdictions who’ve constructed a city light rail who’ve had the same labour and supply challenges but have been able to complete or continue construction at a fair pace.
