Big news in Canberra, Bill Shorten’s calling it a day in politics.

The former Labor leader has announced his retirement a short time ago, he’ll now move into a top job at the University of Canberra.

Shorten will take over as vice-chancellor in February when he wraps up his time in parliament.

The NDIS Minister says he wouldn’t change a thing about his nearly 20-year-long career.
