Canberrans gathered on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin this morning to raise awareness of organ and tissue donation.

Social events business Curated and run club DK. Society partnered to host the Sunrise Walk for a Cause & Social Session as part of DonateLife week.

Baby Wes headed down to the event, where he heard from Canberran John Lafferty, an organ transplant recipient.

John also spoke to Rod and Gabi about his experience receiving a heart and kidney transplant.
