When the world stopped on September 11, 2001, one small town showed what humanity is capable of: kindness, courage, and connection. Now, that extraordinary true story comes to the Canberra stage as Dramatic Productions presents Come From Away at Gungahlin College Theatre this October. It’s the feel-good musical that took Broadway by storm, reminding us that even in our darkest moments, good people doing good things can light the way.

In that same generous spirit, Dramatic Productions is turning compassion into action through its Dramatic Difference program, donating 10% of ticket sales from select performances to local charities including Headspace, Soldier On, and Hands Across Canberra. Audiences can also purchase $25 Pay-It-Forward tickets, gifting those in need the chance to experience the show.

Led by directors Grant Pegg and Kelly Roberts, with musical direction from Caleb Campbell and choreography by Nathan Rutups, the creative team behind Dogfight reunites to deliver a production brimming with heart, humour, and unforgettable music. Canberra audiences can expect to laugh, cry, and leave with full hearts.

Managing Director Richard Block says Come From Away captures the very spirit of Dramatic Productions. “This show reminds us of who we can be at our best, generous, compassionate, and united,” he said. Tickets are on sale now at stagecenta.com
