It’s World Penguin Day and the National Zoo and Aquarium are celebrating!

They’ve formally announced the arrival of four brand new Little Penguins who were born in 2023.

Little Penguins are aptly named due to the fact they are the world’s smallest penguin.

Hit 1047’s Wilko & Courts spoke to Zookeeper Will Tran about the new arrivals.

Will explains how the zookeeper’s had to teach the baby penguins how to swim, and what their names are!
