A mother duck, father duck, and their ducklings have stopped traffic on the Tuggeranong Parkway.

ACT Police coming to the rescue of the young family, who were spotted waddling along the busy road.

“So you thought the potholes were bad? How about these quacks on the road!” Police said in a Facebook post.

“With no time to ponder, they quickly quacked the case and helped escort these lucky ducks to a safe area nearby. A quacking effort by all involved!”

Locals took to the post to share their thanks.

“Noice! All your ducks in a row!” one poster said.

“Great job assembling a quack team,” another commenter added.

Here’s hoping no commuters were left in a fowl mood as a result of the incident.
