Travelers to the Coast should notice the return of an old friend this weekend.
The sign marking the beloved Pooh Bear’s Corner on the Clyde Mountain has now officially been restored and resurrected at its rightful home.
The corner’s cave, which has also sat empty during the sign’s restoration, has now seen bears begin to make their way back to the area.
All of this comes after a social media post a few weeks ago, pointed out the fact that the sign had been removed, sparking major concerns online that the days of the iconic corner may have come to an end.
However, the local Eurobodalla Council was quick to quell those concerns, sharing the news that it’d been taken out to receive some much needed TLC from the folks at the Narooma Men’s Shed.
Now it’s back, taking pride of place on the mountain, just in time for what’s tipped to be a highly trafficked journey this Labour Day Long Weekend.
