Here’s your chance to help Hackett throw a banging birthday party.

The inner-north suburb is celebrating it’s 60th birthday this month with market stalls, plenty of food, live music, and some fun activities for the little ones to enjoy.

It’s all happening on Saturday October 28 in the grounds of the Holy Cross Anglican and St Margaret’s Uniting Churches, Antill St, Hackett, from 3pm til 8pm.

A guaranteed highlight will be the Hackett Squares Artshow, with entries open to the entire community – with the works to be inspired by the suburb, complete with a written explanation of how the entry links to its community.

Of course, no celebration is complete without a cake, and some of the original residents of Hackett will participate in the official cake cutting ceremony at 4pm.
