We’ve been given a little peek-ah-pooh at the restoration of the sign that’ll soon be re-erected at the iconic Pooh Bear’s Corner, on the way to the Coast.
The Narooma Men’s Shed are currently undertaking the job (which is one of their biggest and most important, possibly ever, I’m sure) to restore the old sign after it became worn-down.
The sign, located on the Clyde Mountain, was recently removed without notice, sparking concerns online:

However, the Eurobodalla council at the time assured locals and visitors alike that all was well, with the original sign receiving so much needed TLC.
Now we’ve been given our first glimpse of that work, with some final weatherproofing needing to be done before crews can return the sign to its rightful home.
No date has been set for the sign’s return just yet.
