As we look forward to the adventures that await in 2024, we thought we’d take a moment to relive some of our favourites from this year.

Years of delays and waiting paid off for residents of Canberra’s inner-north as Dickson finally welcomed the new Coles development.

We were given a sneak peek into the soon to be opened ‘level up’ of the Gungahlin Marketplace shopping centre, which is now home to the largest Chemist Warehouse store in Canberra

8. Restaurant of the Year
Campbell’s Les Bistronomes picked up the crown for Best Restaurant in the ACT at this year’s Restaurant & Catering awards.

7. Skyfire Returns
A Canberra institution is coming back next year, following a 5 year hiatus and the news of its return sent social media on fire.

6. Kokomo’s makes a Comeback
A former favourite on a night out in Canberra announced its return in the form of Kokomo’s themed nights at The Pearl throughout December.

5. New Dessert store opening
We payed a visit to one of Canberra’s newest dessert sites, Bubu, you guys loved our road test of the Tuggeranong store.
Since then, they’ve also opened up in Dickson.

4. Canberra goes crazy for Christmas Lights
Christmas is in the air and lights adorn plenty of houses across the city, so much so, we put together the Christmas Lights Trail – which you can check out here.

3. Roulettes display above Canberra
The Air Force Roulettes took the skies above Canberra as part of Parliament House’s 35th birthday celebrations and we absolutely could not get enough of the display.

2. Post Malone enjoys a night out in Canberra
One of the biggest rappers on the planet, Post Malone, was in town for Spilt Milk, but the night before he enjoyed a night out in Canberra – having a bite to eat at the popular Raku restaurant in Civic.

1. The Earthquake House is coming back!
The news of a soon to be returned Canberra favourite sent people into a frenzy of excitement while being flooded back with memories of their own experiences at the Earthquake House.
