When 10 year old Reuben Jones got ready for Book Week, he never expected to make quite a splash. He knew he’d be wearing his inflatable dinosaur costume, but needed to wear regular clothes underneath for the rest of the school day.

Reuben opted to don his Raiders jersey, and when he saw there were Penrith Panthers players in the house to watch the parade ahead of their match against the Raiders that coming weekend, Reuben knew exactly what to do.

He burst out of his dinosaur costume to flash his green jersey to the Panthers and the rest, they say, is history.

Reuben has had a massive weekend meeting his favourite players and even joining them for their Golden Point celebration post match.
