The average cost of an Australian wedding has gone up, surging to just over $38,000 across the country.

It’s a bit less in the ACT, where the average sits at $32,915.

Queensland and Tasmania are the only states that are cheaper than the ACT, at $32,645 and $25,423 respectively.
