One of Canberra’s favourite burger joints is making its way to Tuggers as part of a brand new dining and entertainment precinct at the South.Point shopping centre.

Brod Burger is just one of the new venues, opening inside ‘The Point‘ – a multi-million dollar redevelopment of the former courtyard area, between the entrances of Target and The Good Guys.

The new space will also be home to local chicken chain Fricken alongside Phat Panda and Biteful Kebabs.

Virtual Reality escape room Metaphysica will also set up shop, after opening its first location in Mitchell back in 2020.

The Point will feature a mezzanine beer garden, undercover outdoor seating, two large screens, new food and entertainment venues, and is centred by a children’s playground and promises a family-friendly food hall meets entertainment precinct with live events and music, and screenings of the big games all year round.

Brod Burger co-owner Sacha Brodbeck is excited to be bringing a new concept to Tuggeranong.

“Our ultra southside customers have been calling for this for so long now, so when we saw the opportunity to open at The Point, we knew we had to jump at it,”

“We really want this to be more than just a food venue, our new concept Brodburger will have all the Brod favourites, as well as a few signature items only available at The Point.”

The new Brod Burger location will also feature a bar, serving up local wines, beers and spirits.

“But even more exciting is our plans to host events, especially music gigs, in the precinct.” Sacha said.

“We’re in the process of locking in some incredible local and national musical acts to perform at The Point across summer.”

Construction on the new space is currently underway with The Point scheduled to open in early December.
