Canberra’s annual celebration of spring, Floriade, has officially come to an end for 2023.
Monday saw the park cleared out with hundreds of attendees given the chance to rehome some of the main attraction at the Great Big Bulb Dig.
While there were pooches a plenty to see out the final visiting day of the festival on Sunday, the now annual Dogs Day Out proving just as popular as ever – with more than 3,500 furry friends in attendance.
Other ‘ruff’ figures reveal more than 433,000 people made their way through gates at Commonwealth Park throughout the month long flower festival, including 27,000 at Nightfest.
That’s 5,500 more than last year and marks the event’s 8th best attendance on record.
