We’ve all seen plenty of odd things on Facebook Marketplace, but this one might take the cake.

Kristen shared the story of a local woman who somehow ended up BUYING A HOUSE through the platform. The home had been listed by a family who wanted to see “what happened” before going down the traditional real estate route, and after a drive-by, a proper inspection and a few extra family members tagging along, the buyer decided to go for it.

Thankfully, it all went through lawyers and the proper channels from there, but it still started as a Facebook Marketplace find. Which makes your awkward couch pickup suddenly feel a lot less intense.
