Most people taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout spend one night sleeping rough to raise awareness of homelessness. Canberra real estate director Jonny Warren is taking things a little further. Ahead of this year’s Vinnies CEO Sleepout, Jonny is lacing up his walking shoes for ‘Jonny’s Sleepwalk” challenge, adding extra kilometres and extra awareness to an issue affecting thousands of Canberrans. This Thursday is the annual CEO Sleepout, seeing business and community leaders swap their beds for a night on the cold concrete, helping raise funds and awareness for people experiencing homelessness.

Jonny joined us to talk about why he’s getting involved, what he’s learned about homelessness in Canberra, and why more people should be paying attention to the growing number of Australians doing it tough.
