There’s concerns about the way some people are treating our local vets, as well as vet nurses and staff at clinics.

The Canberra Veterinary Emergency Services has published an open letter, calling on people to treat their staff with respect.

The letter appeared on their Facebook page earlier this week and quickly went viral:

“During the last few weeks our team has been experiencing an increase of abuse and aggressive behaviour from our visitors and clients.

Yelling, foul language, hostility, mistreatment of others, intimidation, disrespect and even threats.”
