Our local emergency workers are going head-to-head this month, to see who can grow the best mo for Movember!

ACT Policing and the Emergency Services Agency are battling it out against one another, to raise the most money for the Movember Foundation.

Detective Inspector John Hawkins, who is in ACT Police’s corner, said it’s good to have the healthy competition.

“We’re fortunate enough to be the holder of the trophy for the last 3 years,” he said, “it’s never wise to be confident when you’ve held onto a trophy for this long.”

“But, at this point in time I think we are leading, and we hope to continue the lead throughout the month.”
