A community mural in Hackett created by a local school has been removed by the ACT Government.
It’s caused outrage at Blue Gum Community School, amongst students who painted the mural.
The local government has since spoken out, stating the wood on which the mural was painted on rotting, and a new mural will go in its place.
Local residents have spoken out online, shocked the mural was removed from the pavilion at the Hackett Neighbourhood Oval.
