Got a young coin collector in the making? The Kids Coin Trade at the Royal Australian Mint has been such a hit that all sessions are now fully booked! 

Kicking off today and running until the 8th of October in the Little Visitors Vault, the event has already captured the imagination of kids aged 5–12, giving them the chance to swap everyday coins for shiny new treasures of the same value.

While no more spots are available, families can still pop into the Mint Shop to exchange cash for coins or explore a wide range of collectibles and keepsakes.

The Kids Coin Trade may be booked out, but with so many junior collectors here in Canberra, it certainly won’t be the last! Keep those eyes sparkling and those collections growing, the next coin adventure might be just around the corner!
