It was one of Civic’s most iconic night-time destinations in years gone by and now it’s set to make a comeback.

Kokomo’s which closed its doors in 2021 will, next month, make a return to its former home on the corner of Genge St and Bunda St.

Now known as ‘The Pearl’ the owners made the decision to rebrand the venue during the height of the COVID pandemic.

However, fast forward two years and now the time is right to bring back the former favourite.

Every Friday and Saturday night throughout December The Pearl will be hosting ‘Kokomos’ themed nights.

Of course the iconic pink disco pineapple will also be making its return.
