This Transport Canberra bus, filled with tinsel and baubles, has to be the most festive vehicle getting around on the city’s streets this year.

Known as the ‘Pack the Bus‘ it’s essentially a mobile giving tree, visiting several drop off points around the Nation’s Capital to collect Christmas gifts and essentials, donated by the people of Canberra, for those doing it tough.

The joint initiative between local radio station Mix106.3, Transport Canberra and Communities @ Work saw more than 9,000 donations collected in 2022.

This year, they’re hoping to pass the 10,000 milestone.
