Former Civic favourite ‘Shorty’s’ will make a long awaited return later this year.

It’s teaming up with Wakefiield Bar in Ainslie for a 5-day takeover of the venue, promising a nostalgic hijack with all the guilty pleasures and classic dishes you may have been missing since it last closed its doors back in 2020.

We’re told the menu will feature their famous next-level burgers and parmys, signature chips, crispy honey duck wings, deep-fried Golden Gaytimes, and ‘Crunk Cooler’ jugs.

However, it’s not just the dishes making a comeback, Shorty’s old weekday deals are also back and at their original prices:

• Tuesday: $15 schnitzels or parmigiana

• Wednesday: $15 steaks

• Thursday: $15 burgers

Bookings are now open for the ‘Shorty’s Hijack,’ which will take place at Wakefields Bar in Ainslie from September 10-14.
