You can expect to see a bit more activity on Lake Burley Griffin in the weeks ahead with Sea Planes touching down in the Capital.

It comes ahead of a direct service between Canberra and Sydney, expected to launch before the end of the year.

Sydney Seaplanes will operate the new service, initially offering up to two flights a week connecting Lake Burley Griffin with Rose Bay – with plans to increase to twice daily as demand increases.
