The Airport Open Day returns this weekend, with organisers saying it’s going to be bigger and better than ever this Saturday April 6.

For the first time they are bringing together two of Canberra’s biggest open days, by partnering with ACT Emergency Services Agency.

Fire trucks, helicopters and safety equipment will all be on display.

There will also be the opportunity to climb aboard both modern and historical aircraft and get up close and personal with emergency vehicles, and a selection of celebrated warbirds.

Food stalls, face painting,  and even mascots will also be on site!

The gates open from 9am til 3pm, with FREE tickets available online.
