Mix106.3 named Station of the Year at national radio awards

Local radio station Mix106.3 has cleaned up at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs) in Sydney over the weekend.
The biggest of all, named as the inaugural ‘Station of the Year’ as part of a string of newly included awards this year.
The station picked up the top honours in the Non-Metro category which represents the work of the industry outside of the major cities (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth & Adelaide).
KIIS 106.5 in Sydney picked up the ‘Station of the Year’ award in the Metro category.
The annual awards night are the radio industry’s equivalent to the Logies and the Canberra team picked up a total of 7 awards on the night.

- Best Community Campaign – Pack the Bus (Mix106.3)
- Best Promotions Director – Zak Davies (Mix106.3/Hit104.7)
- Best Station Produced Commercial – Be Safe, Be Alive (Mix106.3/Hit104.7)
- Best Radio Show Producer – Haylee Potts (Mix106.3)
- Best Content Director – Rod Cuddihy (Mix106.3/Hit104.7)
- Best Individual Talent – Ellie Angel-Mobbs (Hit104.7)
